I spent way too long making mockups for the Clogged Quilt. The way the fabric placement changes the flow and look of the pattern is just so fun. I especially love the all-random version that makes the blocks look wonky even though they are 100% straight. It gives me old-fashioned crazy quilt vibes. The Clogged Quilt starts with a traditionally pieced heart in the center of each block, then builds logs around it like a classic log cabin block, but with slimmer-than-normal logs that give it a modern edge.

About the Pattern
The 13-page pattern includes both the standard version and a Supersized bonus version, both finishing at 64 inches wide by 60 inches tall. The slightly wider-than-tall proportions make it the perfect width for sharing on the sofa. The Supersized version uses fewer, larger blocks with identical construction. I included it because it was such an easy addition and sews up faster. Both versions are a great log cabin quilt to try if you have never done one before. You can easily add or remove blocks to change the size.
