The Something Wicked Quilt-Along originally ran from September 26th through October 31st, 2020, if you work at that pace or ahead, you can have a fully finished quilt for Halloween. In my opinion the Halloween quilts are great quilts to cozy up with all the way through Thanksgiving. I love seasonal quilts because they're so fun to pull out and brighten up your space. This pattern actually went on to inspire the Oh Christmas Tree Quilt. I adapted it at a retreat with a star topper and ornaments and realized it deserved its own standalone pattern.
About the Pattern
The finished quilt measures 60" x 68" and is traditionally pieced with printable paper templates. FPP templates are included as an alternative for all the pieced blocks, so you can choose whichever method you prefer. The pattern includes a complete supply list, diagrams with every written instruction, and a printable coloring sheet to plan your fabric placement. There's also a page dedicated to adding an optional sash to the hat just above the brim. The pattern is fat quarter friendly. You'll receive 3 downloadable files: the pattern instructions, template pattern pieces, and FPP templates. Skill level is beginner to advanced.
