The Starfy quilt is one of those designs where fabric choice is everything. The same pattern can look completely different depending on how your fabrics play off each other, lighter star points blend softly into the background, while bold contrasting fabrics make the star absolutely pop. Something to keep in mind: color value counts a lot with this one.
I had so much fun designing the four border options and seeing my testers bring their own creative spins to it. My friend Kate made a Christmas version during testing that was so good it inspired me to add the "no border single fabric" option to the pattern.

About the Pattern
The Starfy pattern is a 10-page PDF with fabric requirements, cutting instructions, and sewing instructions with diagrams. The throw size measures 63" square and is super fast to sew. You get four border options: hourglass, HST, no border scrappy, and no border single fabric. The pattern is customizable with fabric placement and border choice.
As a bonus, the Mini Starfy pattern (17" square) is included as a separate download file. The mini has two background options, scrappy or single fabric, plus a page with info and fabric requirements for making a throw-size quilt from multiple mini blocks. Skill level is beginner and above.
