This pattern is all about the stars, and it's one of the most versatile things I've ever designed. Have a project that needs a little boost? Add a star. Want to make a simple patchwork quilt but desire a little something extra? Add some stars. Any project that has a square in the 2" to 9" range can have that square swapped out for a star.
I use these constantly in my own projects, a sawtooth star block with a star center, a patchwork tote with star accents, a striped pillow using alternating 3" stars. The pattern pieces are printable so you can print as many as you need over and over again, making this a pattern to last your lifetime.
About the Pattern
The pattern comes with two files: one with instructions and diagrams, and one with all the printable pattern pieces. You get 16 star blocks total, a little star and a big star option at each block size from 2" to 9". The pattern includes diagrams, project ideas, and assembly info. This is a foundation paper pieced pattern and assumes you have knowledge of how to FPP. Skill level is intermediate to advanced.
